    Zwischenbericht aus Bournemouth

    Am 1. Mai war es soweit und es hieß für mich 4 Wochen England. Nach einer guten Ankunft in Bournemouth wurden ich und zwei andere Mädels aus meinem Kurs von einer Bekannten der Gastfamilie abgeholt. Nach anfänglichen Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten haben wir uns in der Familie gut eingelebt. Die Gasteltern und ihre beiden Kinder sind sehr freundlich. Im Haus wohnen zurzeit acht weitere Studenten (3 Spanier, 3 Franzosen, 1 Italiener und einer aus der Tschechischen Republik.

    Die ersten zwei Tage hatten wir Englischunterricht in der English School 2000, in dieser Schule absolviere ich auch mein Praktikum. An die Arbeitszeiten hier in England könnte ich mich nicht gewöhnen, freitags nur zweieinhalb Stunden arbeiten und den Rest der Woche maximal 5 Stunden pro Tag. So an sich sind die Aufgabenstellungen im Betrieb anspruchsvoll aber lösbar und Spaß macht es auch.

    Am ersten Wochenende haben wir einen Ausflug nach Oxford gemacht, diese Stadt ist sehr interessant, alleine schon die Universitäten. Am vergangenen Samstag waren wir in London, leider hatten wir viel zu wenig Zeit um uns alle Sehenswürdigkeiten an zu sehen.

    Nun habe ich die Halbzeit meines Auslandsaufenthaltes erreicht und hinterlasse euch hiermit viele liebe Grüße aus Bournemouth.

      In Oxford war ich auch schon mal, habe mich sogar heimlich in eine Uni reingeschlichen … Das war echt extrem interessant, da fühlte man sich schon ein bisschen wie die Bildungselite :-D
